1. Platform ownership of generated content

Exodemy owns the content of courses generated on the platform and may publish, distribute, feature, or recommend that content as it chooses. The original creator is the only person credited as the course's creator on the platform.

2. AI-generated content limitations

Course content, quizzes, answer keys, and grading rubrics are generated by a large language model and may contain errors. Creators are responsible for reviewing generated content before publication. We do not guarantee that AI-recommended external links remain available indefinitely.

3. Generation & purchase pricing

Generating a new course costs ₦5,000, charged once a course is successfully generated. Purchasing an existing course costs ₦3,000, plus the payment-provider charge shown at checkout.

4. Creator monetization & eligibility

In standard mode, a creator earns ₦2,000 per eligible sale once they complete their own course and achieve an overall weighted average of at least 80% across required graded assessments. A creator may instead opt out of completing their own course at publish time, in exchange for a reduced ₦1,000 share per sale. Revenue from sales made while a creator is ineligible is retained by the platform permanently and shown on the creator dashboard for transparency only — it is never paid retroactively.

5. Course updates

Substantive edits (regenerating a lesson, changing course structure, or materially changing assessment content) incur a ₦1,000 charge per distinct calendar day on which they occur, deducted from the course's potential creator earnings. You will always be shown and asked to confirm this charge before it is applied. Minor wording or spelling fixes are free.

6. Publication

A course publishes immediately if you choose to publish it, or automatically once you reach 25% progress through your own generated course.
